The large 15-inch cone moves a serious amount of air and reproduces the lowest frequencies with both weight and control. With a frequency response of 20–80 Hz, this subwoofer is perfectly suited for extreme SPL builds and powerful daily systems where the bass should not only be heard, but felt throughout the entire vehicle.

The cone features a rigid carbon-fiber composite construction, combining low weight, strength, and controlled response. The heavy-duty foam surround allows for large cone movement, while the 22.5 mm Xmax enables the subwoofer to move a huge amount of air even under extreme load.

The massive ferrite motor drives a large 3.7-inch PIAL voice coil designed to handle very high power levels and the heat generated during demanding use. The rigid aluminum frame minimizes flex and keeps the motor, voice coil, and suspension properly aligned during extreme excursion.

The DB-4.5K 15" is available in both D1 and D2 versions, with dual 1-ohm or dual 2-ohm voice coils. This provides excellent flexibility when matching the subwoofer to your amplifier and the number of subwoofers in the installation.
