The Deaf Bonce Apocalypse DB-5.5K 15" is an uncompromising SPL subwoofer built for those who want to move extreme amounts of air and create bass pressure that can be felt throughout the entire vehicle. With an incredible 5,500W RMS and up to 11,000W maximum power, it is designed for serious audio systems where ordinary bass is simply not enough.

The large 15-inch cone features a rigid composite construction with a carbon-fiber sandwich design. This combines low weight with exceptional stiffness, helping the cone remain controlled even when the subwoofer is operating under extreme load. The heavy-duty foam surround allows for large, controlled cone movement, while the 22.5 mm Xmax provides the excursion needed for deep and physical low-frequency output.

At the heart of the DB-5.5K is a massive 4.5-inch PIAL voice coil, engineered to handle extremely high power levels and dissipate heat efficiently. Combined with the powerful ferrite motor, it delivers consistent and aggressive sound pressure even during long and demanding listening sessions.

The rigid cast-aluminum frame minimizes unwanted flex and keeps the motor, voice coil, and suspension correctly aligned during extreme excursion. Optimized ventilation also improves cooling when the subwoofer is pushed to its limits.

With a frequency response of 20–80 Hz, the DB-5.5K is designed to deliver deep, aggressive, and powerful bass without losing control. It is an excellent choice for extreme demo vehicles, competition systems, and advanced daily builds where maximum performance is the priority.

The subwoofer is available in both D1 and D2 versions, with dual 1-ohm or dual 2-ohm voice coils. This provides excellent flexibility when matching the subwoofer to different amplifiers and systems using one or multiple subwoofers.
