Its massive 104 lb neodymium motor provides an incredibly powerful magnetic system with outstanding control over cone movement. Combined with a voice coil featuring a 75 mm winding height, it delivers enormous excursion capability, exceptional power handling, and consistent performance even under extreme operating conditions.

To ensure maximum durability, the DB-7.5K utilizes four progressive dual spiders that keep the voice coil perfectly centered throughout its travel. The newly developed surround, featuring a specially engineered rib profile, maintains optimal compliance across the entire excursion range, allowing the subwoofer to remain controlled even when pushed to its absolute limits.

The cone is constructed from a new high-rigidity, lightweight composite material, while critical adhesive joints have been reinforced with advanced composite compounds to withstand extreme temperatures and mechanical stress. The voice coil features PIAL winding along with an updated coating system and a split voice coil former to reduce eddy currents, improve cooling efficiency, and maintain peak performance during extended high-power sessions.

An updated basket design with enhanced ventilation efficiently dissipates heat from both the motor assembly and the voice coil. This ensures stable power handling even when the subwoofer is driven with extremely high power for extended periods. Heavy-duty dual 8 AWG terminals provide secure, high-current connections for demanding amplifier setups.
